The price reported is the weighted average price of the aggregate number of shares sold in multiple open market transactions. The shares were sold at prices between $80.47 to $80.55, inclusive. The reporting person undertakes to provide to the staff of the SEC, MetLife, Inc., or a security holder of the Issuer, upon request, full information regarding the number of shares purchased at each separate price. | On March 24, 2023, the reporting person contributed 17,300 shares of MetLife, Inc. common stock to a grantor retained annuity trust for the benefit of himself and his four adult children. Upon termination of the trust on May 12, 2025, 4,684 of the shares were transferred to the reporting person's children. The remaining 12,616 shares were previously distributed to the reporting person and continue to be reported in this Form 4 as directly owned.
